Hey-Ho LETS GO

SO.... Here i am again... I am sorry for my absence in the last month but I have excuses! Last week I completed the final set of assessments and essays for term 2 of my first year! It got very stressful, too the point that I was left crying over my laptop and considering running away with the circus. But I made it through (gold star for me), and now I have three blissful weeks at home and can begin to blog  properly! I have also been reunited with my camera so I can show you some real good photography (not really).

So what lies ahead in the world of my degree? Before we broke up for easter we were given our parts for our final acting assessment. We are doing extracts from the Ibsen plays; 'A Dolls House' and 'Hedda Gabler', I have been cast as Hedda and for all you non-theatricals this is a good thing! I am very excited to play this part, she is a crazy bitch.... much like myself... *cough what?!*. Throughout my future posts I will keep you updated on the rehearsal progress, its fun I promise!
Ibsen is exciting right?!
Today I am just having a chill day with my boyfriend but he is taking AGES to get here so I decided to get all dressed up and do you guys an outfit post!
Today I have gone for a casual yet on-trend look by teaming up my slouchy 'boyfriend tee' from Primark and my all time fave 'MOM jeans' from Topshop!
Being all moody and mysterious obviously....
Top- £3-50, Primark
Jeans- £40,Topshop
I love the 'just rolled out of bed, still cool though' vibe so this outfit combo is perfect to achieve the look! I am just wearing a little blue cameo that my grandparents bought for me to brighten it all up!
Necklace- Vintage

Hairband- £3.99, Newlook
I have just thrown my hair into a messy side plait and added this cute floral headband from Newlook, it will be perfect for festivals and the summer!
Shoes- £18, Primark
Ok so these are THE shoes of the moment for me, i wear them all the time and they were a bargain! To add a bit of an edge to the outfit I decided to chuck on these chunky heels... They are so comfy, just go and buy them now!!!!
Rings: (Pink cameo, Vintage)
(Pandora, £40)
(Grey Cameo, Vintage)
Bracelet: Pandora
Watch: Casio £38
Finally, I am wearing the same jewellery that I wear every day, a gold Casio watch really is a style must have... I wear it all the time and it goes with everything!

Hope you enjoyed my first outfit post, there will be many more to come! See ya later!

My palace (student halls, duh!)

So when I signed my life away for the next three years to go to university I also had to take the biggest step I have taken in my life so far... MOVING AWAY FROM HOME *cries*. On the 20th of September 2013 I spent the last night in my house before moving away, I wasted most of that night drunk and the other half crying on my boyfriend Jacks shoulder about how I was 'just going to stay, you can't stop me.' This sounds awful I know, but seriously the moment I stepped into my new flat and met my flat mates (who are now some of my best friends) all the tears from the night before started to dry.. Although the hangover still lingered!

I live in student accommodation which is a 10 minute bus ride from my uni, it is a unite building and they provide flats for uni's all around the country! Living in student halls is noisy, messy and tiring but an opportunity you shouldn't miss! You just need to put up with the occasional water fight and coming home to mince meat smeared over the front door, (thank you flat 303!). As gross as that is, it has to be admitted I live for the nights spent running through the corridors armed with a water baloon! I share my flat with five girls and not only do I have a snazzy PINK feature wall, I also have an en-suite! THANK GOODNESS! The kitchen is shared between the 6 of us and is pretty dull and basic although we have tried to lighten the place up with bunting and shamefully we neglected to ever take our christmas decorations down, oh dear! We have gained a reputation in our building as the cutest little flat in the block, and that we are!

The kitchen at christmas, oh so festive!

So the first time I saw my room for the year, my mum and I squeezed in with my ridiculous pile of stuff and it was all pretty bare and I thought PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME HERE!!!!
I really did believe this was all essential...

But with a bit of razzle dazzle and a lot of junk later I created a room which I am proud to call my home away from home!

where all the 'work' takes place of course!

And yes, the bed is actually very comfy!
In a few weeks to follow I will be doing a post with a more detailed view of my
bedroom and tips on how to decorate your room for you uni!
All in all, moving away from home was nowhere near as scary as it seemed, all I have to do is pick up the phone!

Juicy Jottings coming up:
Uni room and decor advice, my freshers week, what to bring to uni and much much more!

Thanks for listening!

Eliselovesfashion meets Juicyjottings...

So, hello world.
Some of you may remember me as 'Eliselovesfashion' from youtube. If you were subscribed to my channel you will know I stopped making videos just over a year ago. This is because my life got busy... really busy.
So whats changed from then to now? I started making youtube videos at the age of 14 and continued to the age of 18 until life and new interests got in the way. I am now 19 years old and have moved away from my home in Essex to study Acting at university in Bath. Since starting my course there has been a lot to take in... I mean WOW, almost too much. I left my cosy home which I share with my mum, dad and brother behind and swapped it with a flat which I share with 5 crazy (AMAZING) girls. Also, I left the comfort of my school of seven years behind to plunge myself into the big and scary world of university which meant having to leave my friends, family and boyfriend behind (although they are only a phone call away!).

So why have I decided to return to cyber space? My course requires me to keep a daily journal of my life as an actor, which is oh so interesting! Of course! What better place to do that than the internet! So, my dear people if you will have me back, Eliselovesfashion has returned as Juicyjottings! This old boot has found new fuel and you can be expecting my everyday actors aches, life ramblings, fashion-findings and student life advice!

I am very excited to start again, hope ya'll have me!
